Ultra Build Northwest is led by Craig Grimsley — on site every week, not behind a desk passing the work to a subcontractor he's never met. After 20+ years bricklaying, running crews and finishing homes across Greater Manchester, Craig set the business up around one principle: one team, one standard, from groundworks to handover. We help homeowners and commercial clients across Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Oldham and Cheshire tackle the projects most builders either duck or bodge — full renovations, structural extensions, loft conversions, roofing replacements, silicone render systems and end-to-end new builds. Our specialism is the full job. Foundations to final coat. One in-house crew, one point of contact, one set of standards. No sub-letting your kitchen to a stranger. No surprise charges three weeks in. Just the build you signed off, finished the way you were promised. Mission & Standards ## The Rules WeRefuse To Break. ### Fixed Written Quotes, Always Every job is priced in writing as a fixed price — costed by our quantity surveyor once drawings are in place. No verbal estimates that drift upward once we've started. ### One Crew Per Project Your project is led by one foreman from day one to handover. No rotating subcontractors, no faces you've never met. ### Building Regs As Standard Notifiable work is built to current UK Building Regulations and signed off through the relevant local building control authority. ### Trade-Qualified In-House Bricklayers, plasterers, joiners, roofers and groundworkers — directly employed or long-standing subcontractors we've worked with for 5+ years. No labour-only middlemen. ### Clean Site, Daily Site is swept, materials stacked and waste removed at the end of every working day. Your home is not our skip. ### Honest Timelines We quote realistic durations — not the shortest number to win the job. If weather or supplies delay us, you hear about it quickly.
